KimXi fans urged to support new soap with Gerald

-

MANILA – Actress Kim Chiu appealed to fans of her love team with actor Xian Lim to also support her reunion project with former boyfriend Gerald Anderson.

In a press conference on Monday night, Chiu assured her fans that the upcoming series "Ikaw Lang Ang Iibigin" has nothing to do with her personal relationship with Lim.

Chiu said what is important now is that she is happy with her life -- same with Anderson.

"Actors po kami. We're professional and we've been doing this for 10 years na," Chiu added.

Four years after their last project together, Dreamscape announced late Monday the reunion project of Anderson and Chiu.

Directed by Dan Villegas, "Ikaw Lang Ang Iibigin" also stars Helen Gamboa, Ayen Munji-Laurel, Bing Loyzaga, Coleen Garcia and Jake Cuenca.

The former "Pinoy Big Brother" teen housemates were last featured as a love team in the 2012 romantic comedy movie "24/7 in Love."
