UIC-A tops B3 HS bowlfest

THE University Of Immaculate Conception (UIC) Team A emerged champion in the NCCC Mall B3 Inter-High School Bowling Tournament held last Oct. 22 at the B3 Center Lanes.

UIC Team A composed of Lance Patrick Aranas, Ali Satta, Johann Telesforo, Dave Rica and Wences Niegas struck a total of 1,161 pinfalls after two games in the event organized by NCCC B3.

UIC-A bested Precious Internatio­nal School of Davao (PISD) and Ateneo de Davao University (AdDU) who placed second and third, respective­ly.

PISD, which rolled 1,145 pins, was bannered by Jesly Keziah Palacio, Paul Benjamin Palacio, Marc Lesther Nano, Andre Karl Cavero, and Raul Rebeiro while AdDU, which garnered 1,113 pinfalls, leaned on the services of Raymond Ian Consolacio­n, Gerard Ian Consolacio­n, Liam Garcia, Winnie Martin Ballano, and Chad Tancontian.

UIC-A took home the top prize of P15,000 while PISD got P10,000 and AdDU claimed P5,000.

The Assumption College of Davao, Holy Cross College of Davao, St. John Paul II College of Davao and Maa National High School each received a consolatio­n prize of 30 pieces of bowling gift certificat­es.

Meanwhile, the NCCC Mall B3 will also hold a Midnight Bowling Bowl All-You-Can on Oct. 27 from 6 p.m. until 12:00 midnight.

Registrati­on is pegged at P250 inclusive of food, drinks, lane fee and shoe rental.

The event will also fearture games, trick or treat and holloween costume constest with the winner taking home NCCC B3 gift checks.

There will also be a 50 percent discount to all B3 service such as billiards, table tennis, videoke and Xbox.
