AN accused drug pusher is facing charges before the court after he was arrested in a drug-bust operation conducted by the Talomo police station in Ma-a, Davao City last month.

In a two-page resolution, prosecutor Myla Comendador-Lao found probable cause to charge the accused based on a complaint filed by PO1 Neil Lasala of the Talomo police station.

Laguna, believed to be a notorious drug pushers in Panabo, was nabbed after he handed a sachet of suspected shabu to an agent who acted as buyer along Pearl Street at Gem Village.

The accused revealed to the buyer that he has a big time source of shabu in Panabo City. He also encouraged the buyer to look for more buyers, as they have adequate supplies.

Recovered from the possession of the accused were four sachets of suspected shabu, P500 buybust money, one motorcycle, and his driver's license.

The samples of the substance were confirmed to be shabu based on the chemistry report issued by the Police Crime Laboratory Office. The urine sample of the accused was also found positive

for methamphetamine hydrochloride.

Comendador-Lao said the complaint will be resolved based on the evidence submitted to her office, this, after the accused failed to submit his counteraffidavit when he requested for a preliminary investigation and waiver. ICT
