Addu summer sports camp, April 17-28

THE Ateneo de Davao University (Addu) will hold its Summer Sports Camp on April 17-28 and on May 1-12 at the Addu Fr. Martinez Sports Complex in Matina.

Camp director Mark Samante, who guested in yesterday's Davao Sportswrit­ers Associatio­n (DSA) Forum held at The Annex of SM City Davao, said the camp will feature basketball, volleyball, football, chess, table tennis, taekwondo, swimming, and track and field which will be spearheade­d by seasoned Addu coaches.

The annual summer sports program aims to develop the athletes' initial love for sports and see sports as vehicle for learning values that is applicable in life.

Samante said the camp is open to all athletes ages six years old and above, adding that seniors and children-at-heart are still welcome to join.

"We are prepared to cater all regitrants. Kung sino yung gustong matuto pwedeng sumali at walang limit yung slots namin," Samante said.

Registrati­on fees are pegged at P3,000 for Addu students while P3,500 for non-Addu students inclusive of two camp shirts, bag and a journal which will be used by the participan­ts in the two-week skills developmen­t camp.
