Aiko not in talking terms with Jomari

AIKO Melendez admitted that she's not in speaking terms with ex-husband Jomari Yllana.

After their bitter separation in 2003, the couple has maintained a close and friendly relationship for their son, Andre.

There were even speculations that they might get back together after her four-year wedding with Martin Jickain was annulled in 2010.

The actress was even quoted saying she loves Yllana and the feeling is mutual between them.

But there were rumors circulating now that the two are not talking to each other because the Yllana's new girlfriend is jealous of Melendez.

In a recent television interview, the actress admitted that they don't talk.

"Sila ni Andre kahit papaano they talk. Kami naman ni Jom, kahit papaano, hindi kami nag-uusap," she said. "Ganyan naman siya, may mga sapi siya. Ayaw niya akong kausapin," she said.

Melendez added that if there's truth to rumors that his girlfriend is jealous of her, she shouldn't be.

"Huwag niyo na akong pagselosan... I've heard about it (rumor) but I don't know if it's true. But if it is true, this is the time that I'll assure her, of all people, it's not me. It shouldn't be me," she said.

The Kapamilya actress last dated Iranian businessman Shahin Alimirzapour.

Meanwhile, Melendez also has a message to her body shamers. She said it’s a feat to lose weight and she’s just proud of what she has achieved.

"IG ko naman yun so care ko sa kanila. Wag nila ako i-follow. More than the bad comments, mas madami naman yung naka appreciate ng effort ko.

"Hindi biro ang magpapayat, hindi talaga. Yung mga nag bash lang sa IG, eh kayo kaya pumunta sa katawan ko. Ang hirap," she ended.

Melendez is part of the new primetime series "Wildflower" starring Maja Salvador.
