Drug suspect's notebook has P1.4M worth of collectibles
CAGAYAN DE ORO - The drug suspect arrested by the police over the weekend still has about P1.4 million worth of collectibles as reflected by the suspect's notebook which contains details of her drug transactions.
The suspect identified as Nobaisa Tanggo or "Nova," was arrested in a drug bust at Villa Candida, Bulua, Cagayan de Oro City, Sunday evening, March 19 that resulted to the confiscation of some P1.5 million worth of methamphetamine hydrochloride or "shabu."
The police also recovered a green notebook and pieces of yellow paper listing some of Nova's alleged drug suppliers and customers, and two bank books.
Senior Inspector Maricris Mulat, Divisoria Police Station chief, said five names appeared in the paper and another five names were listed in the green notebook but the list showed only the nicknames with no addresses indicated.
"We will verify the list at least we have leads to follow-up," Mulat said.
Mulat added collectibles and payables of the continuous drug transaction were reflected on the suspect's notebook.
Based on the record, the transactions covered from 2013 until present. The police chief said the notebook listed the names and the corresponding transactions with some as much as P260,000.
Mulat earlier said the suspect had no other visible means to earn money except from the illegal drug trade.
The suspect was listed as high value target due to her network in the illegal drug activities.
The police on Tuesday, March 21, charged the suspect with violations of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, particularly on selling and possession of illegal drugs, with no bail recommended.
The suspect will be transferred to Lumbia City Jail on Wednesday, March 22.
