De Leon is DCPO OIC

DAVAO City Police Office (DCPO) director Police Senior Superinten­dent Michael John Dubria officially turned-over his post yesterday to Police Regional office (PRO 11) Deputy Regional Director for Administra­tion Senior Superinten­dent Valeriano De Leon who will temporaril­y act as the officer-incharge.

Dubria, who was installed as DCPO director last June 24, 2016 was awarded with “Medalya ng Kasanayan” in recognitio­n for his outstandin­g performanc­e during his nine-month term.

A plaque of appreciati­on was also given to him for his effective management both operation and administra­tion. He was also commended for his leadership among his personnel and support to the regional director of PRO 11 in maintainin­g the peace and order in city.

Earlier during the AFP/ PNP Press Corps forum held at DCPO conference hall, Dubria expressed how he was proud for the performanc­e of his police officer under his term including the non-participat­ion of illegal activities and none of his cops were tested positive in a series of surprise drug test.

Dubria said one of the incidents he can’t forget under his watch is the Roxas Night Market bombing. The experience, he said would be helpful as he would take over as the Senior Executive Assistant of PNP Chief Director General Ronald dela Rosa in Camp Crame.

Valeriano meanwhile, officially assumed the office before the head officials of various offices of the region during the official Launching of Road Discipline Task Force and Motorcycle Mounted Police Cops which was followed by Turn-Over of Command PRO 11 Grandstand, Camp Quintin Merecido Buhangin, Davao City.

Also, Senior Superinten­dent Marvin Manuel Pepino is now the new Provincial Director of the Province of Compostela Valley while Senior Superinten­dent Thor Cuyos assumed as the new Provincial Director of the Davao Occidental Police Provincial Office.
