Max Collins, Archie Alemania in 'Wagas'

Max Collins and Archie Alemania are lovers who had to wait for two decades to be together in this Saturday’s episode of Wagas.

Zonito (Max) and Jojo (Archie) are both photographers who, upon first meeting, have already felt attraction towards each other. But Jojo is already married. Years later, he becomes a widower. He tries to look for Zonito but unfortunately the latter is already engaged.

In the span of seven years, Zonito suffers at the hands of her husband. She flees from his abuse, and in Thailand, she tries to pick herself up. She goes back to the Philippines and seeks Jojo. By this time, Jojo has already migrated to the U.S. and remarried. Again, the two fail to see each other.

After 10 years, Jojo’s wife will leave him for an American. He then flies back to the Philippines.

Jojo has never forgotten Zonito. And just when they are no longer seeking each other, Zonito and Jojo’s paths will cross once again. After 26 years, they will meet once more—and this time both of them are finally free to love each other.
