Man sued for drugs

A MAN is facing charges before the court after he was caught possessing illegal drugs during a drug bust operation in Barangay Leon Garcia, Agdao District, Davao City on June 6, Tuesday.

Charged with violation of Republic Act 9165, otherwise known as The Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act is Jude Vin Artiaga, alias Jude Vin Artiaga Bautista, a resident of the same place.

In a two-page resolution dated June 16, prosecutor Daniel M. Fernandez found probable cause to charge the accused based on the complaint filed by PO1 Roldan D. Balbin of the Sta. Ana Police Station.

Records showed that the accused was arrested at 9:45 p.m. on June 6 at Sitio Baybay in Barangay Leon Garcia after he handed one sachet of shabu to a policeman who acted as a buyer of the drug.
