Forever with you

LOVE knows how to be humble. Love knows how to be forgiving. And above all, love knows how to keep on trying for the sake of one’s beloved. Indeed, love conquers all.

This holds true for the 31-year-old Richard Alfred C. Lumbang and 28-year-old Kristyn Mona Joan Talingting-Lumbang as the two signified their love for each other by tying the knot on June 24, 2017 at the St. Jude Parish in Davao City.

Richard and Kristyn met at Grub Resto Café last February 10, 2010 through a common friend. None of them thought that “meet up” would mean everything for the two of them. The two became lovers on March 24 on the same year.

It has been a rough road for Richard and Kristyn before things had finally took turn for the better for them. With each other’s support, they managed to beat the odds amid their relationship and walk on the road to forever.

"Richard and I are so glad to finally receive the support we needed in our relationship from the start. Our relationship is not perfect. Nothing and no one is perfect in this world. Although the world could never understand what we have, rest assured that we will love each other and be happy together," Kristyn said.

She added that it really took them several sacrifices and patience to conquer all the struggles they went through. And though married life is a different story to tell, the couple vowed that no one, nobody, and nothing can separate them.

The couple, who organized events like wedding, anniversary, and birthday celebrations, among others, came-up with Autumn Themed Wedding. They incorporated décors that celebrated the season with countless handmade touches.

"We wanted to make the celebration simple, but unique and memorable. The autumn themed wedding is something new for me. So, we had the concept for our wedding celebration followed and it turned out perfect," Kristyn said.

The couple would like to thank the masters of the ceremony Don Gonzales, Allure Events by Lee Beltran for decors and styling, Jinky Legada of Aisle Occasion for coordination, Rated Love for photos, and Monochrome Studio for videos.

Richard and Kristyn also thanked Mark Sayad for the bridal gown and suit, Style Venue for the entourages garments, S.R. Audio for the lights and sounds, Deegee Sounds and Lights, Cocktails and Dreams, Sugar Flow, Supreme Cakes, The Royal Mandaya Hotel, Korde for the band, Jay Blanco for the dance choreography and Hairmony Salon headed by When Enjambre for the make-up.

"To our respective families and friends, and to the entourage, thank you so much. Everything on my wedding turned out perfect because of your support and assistance. I could say that I am the luckiest bride in the world," Kristyn said. ICT
