SPMC celebrates 100 years
One of Mindanao’s leading hospitals, the Southern Philippines Medical Center (SPMC), is celebrating 100 years of service to the public.

Doctor Ricardo B. Audan, SPMC chief of clinics, said this year’s centennial celebration is centered on the theme, “A century of service, passion, mission, and care for all.”
“Throughout the years SPMC prioritized its service to the patients above all else,” Audan said.
The centennial celebration kicked off with a theme writing and logo design contest last November 2016. The entry “A Century of Service, Passion, Mission and Care for All” submitted by Vivien Bayacag from the SPMC Dietetics and Nutrition department emerged as the winner and bested 194 submissions.
