No water in some parts, Aug 9-10
THE Davao City Water District advised the public on two separate sets of water service interruption.
First set will be on August 9 from 9 a,m. to 4 p.m. affecting some areas in Mintal, particularly, NPC Village, Palm Street, Yellow Bell Street, Doña Aurora Street, Camella Cerritos Expansion, and Samulco Village and Sitio Cawa-Cawa in Catalunan Pequeño. DCWD’s Engineering and Construction Department (ECD) crew will tap the water distribution system to the existing pipeline at Villa Constancia Subdivision in Sitio Cawa-Cawa, Catalunan Pequeño.
Second set will be on August 10 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Affected are some areas in Calinan, particularly, Upper and Lower Lacson and Abandon Road. This water service interruption is needed for the tapping of pipelines at Purok 2 in Brgy. Lacson, Calinan by the ECD crew.
Once completed, the first and second projects will allow for accommodation of additional service connections at Block 4 and portions of Blocks 1,2, 3, and 5 in Villa Constancia Subd. and Purok 2 in Brgy. Lacson, Calinan, respectively.
DCWD general manager Engineer Edwin V. Regalado asked for the understanding and cooperation of would-be affected customers and advised them to store
enough water prior to the scheduled water service interruptions. Water supply may be restored earlier if work goes smoothly or later if unforeseen problems arise.
