CM Blacklight run set Saturday
FOLLOWING last year’s successful staging of CM Blacklight Davao, Color Manila Events, Incorporeated, the prime purveyor of colorful fun runs in the country, brings its signature CM Blacklight event back to the “Crown Jewel of Mindanao” at SM Lanang Priemer in Davao City on Saturday.
Coinciding with this year’s Kadayawan Festival, the highly-anticipated, non-timed night run will again feature participants running at their own pace and illuminating the city's thoroughfares with headlamps, neon-colored powder, and bright, contagious smiles.
A Color Festival will then follow after the run wherein finishers will get to douse each other in glow-in-thedark tinted powder while swaying to the rhythm of today’s hits.
“Dabawenyos, it’s time to fire up your festive spirits and put your game face on as we treat you to an energy-charged evening brimming with lively colors, lights, and endless laughter at the CM Blacklight! This is going to be a timely equalizer and a revel-filled respite from a whole day of feasting over scrumptious food during the Festival, so we can’t wait to light up Davao, tap on your healthy side, and run and dance the night away!,” Color Manila vice-president Justine Cordero said.
Categories entered are 3K, 5K, and 10K.
Registration fee for Deluxe Kit is P750 inclusive of a costume singlet, costume prop, race bib, costume drawstring bag, finisher's medal and a color packet while the Rockstar Kit costs P1,050 and includes a Dri-Fit shirt, race bib, headlamp, drawstring bag, color packet, and finisher’s medal.
The Superstar Kit, pegged at P1,500, has a Dri-Fit shirt, race bib, headlamp, three drawstring bags, headwear, CM sticker, color packet, and finisher’s medal.
