Piezo Shockwave NOW IN MINDANAO
People who suffer from chronic muscular and musculoskeletal pain, such as back pain, arthritis, rheumatism, etc., can look forward to their treatment without worrying of any side effect.
On August 25, 2017, CareLife Inc., in partnership with ARCORP, launched the breakthrough in physical therapy, the Extracorporeal Shock Wave Therapy (ESWT). It is a non-invasive procedure for the treatment of acute and chronic pain of the musculoskeletal system.
The technology, which is provided by ARCORP, is run through a physical principle of ESWT. It is a true focused shockwave which is generated by piezo technology characterized by a very strong pressure peak and a very short rise time.
Unlike other conventional shockwave machines that are already available in hospitals in the country, which generate electrohydraulic or electromagnetic shockwaves that both give their patients hematoma after the treatment, this machine generates piezoelectric shockwaves that’s why the treatment is focused on the affected areas only.
CareLife Inc., a tertiary laboratory and healthcare provider owned by mother and daughter Riza and Shay Sumampong, RMT, together with Ralph Ngo and Hanna Tang, also both are registered medical technologists, is the first to acquire such machine in Mindanao, second only to a hospital in Laguna. So Dabawenyos and Mindanaoans in general need not to go in Luzon to experience such treatment.
The Piezo Shockwave machine is solely distributed in Mindanao by ARCORP, owned by Mr. Gabriel Ian Arobo.
