Firm to expand plant in Panabo

HERCULES Foam Mindanao, Inc., (HFMI) manufacturer and distributor of Dewfoam, will be expanding its plant in Panabo City in a bid to cater to the demands of its customers.

Virginia L. Olaivar, sales manager of HFMI, told SunStar Davao that the expansion will allow them to provide better services and make deliveries much faster to their clients.

She said prior to the expansion, the company's plant in Panabo is only manufacturing their product line of packaging materials for industrial foam.

With the expansion, Olaivar said they will be adding more product lines for the Panabo plant like the manufacturing of foams, bed, and furniture.

Currently, it is only their plant in Sasa, Davao City that has the capability to produce most of their major product lines.

Olaivar also said the expansion will open new employment opportunities for those in Panabao City.

The Sasa and Panabo manufacturing plants are currently serving the Southern Mindanao markets, which covers Soccsksargen, Davao Region, and also Caraga Region.

The company is currently in manufacturing hotel beds, eternitiy spring bed, Dew Foam mattresses and slabs, packing materials, Love Rest spring bed, Dew Elastic Pillows, upholstery materials, KD Steel furniture, and sala sets. RJL
