Surprise inspections of villages yield 5 arrests
FIVE wanted individuals were arrested while 499 personalities were invited for questioning during the Davao City Police Office’s (DCPO) simultaneous surprise operation in several villages in the city dubbed as “Oplan Bulabog”.

They started the operation at around 6 p.m. yesterday and ended at around 11:30 p.m. targeting urban poor communities. Their primary targets were the informal settlers straddling the perimeter fence of Davao City International Airport (DIA) and the densely populated barangays.

Several warrants of arrest were served, but Tagum did not identify the five arrested. The invited individuals also underwent bio-profiling and picturetaking for cross matching and records purposes to determine if they are not listed in the terrorists gallery.
