List-up open for 5th Nutrilite Health Run
IN celebration of its 20th anniversary, Nurtrilite, world's number one selling vitamins and dietary supplements brand, will hold a bigger 5th Nutrilite Health Run in an out-and-back course from SM City Davao on October 29.
Amway Philippines product manager Mia Jamisola, in a press conference held at Amway Davao Office Tuesday evening, said this year's edition will feature for the first time a 21-kilometer category.
"We've been doing this event in Davao City for the past four years as we aim to achieve an optimal health through run," Jamisola said, adding that this year's 20K and 10K champions will receive cash prizes of P20,000 and P10,000, respectively.
Other categories entered are 1K for beginners and 5K.
Jamisola also said the proceeds of the event will benefit Lacson Elementary School, which was recommended by the Department of Education (Deped) Davao City. The run aims to attract 2,800 participants.
"We will provide books and renovate library of Lacson Elementary School, the same with other beneficiaries of separate legs in Makati City, Cagayan de Oro City, Cebu City, Pangasinan City, Mandaluyong City and Mnaila," she added.
Race coordinator Kenneth Sai of Vantage Sports Promotions, meanwhile, bared that turning point of the 1K event will be at One Oasis Eco West while the 5K will turn at South Grove Quimpo Boulevard and back to origin.

Exciting raffle prizes also await participants.
Registration is open until October 13 at Amway Distribution Center corner Tulip Drive-Quimpo Boulevard or online through amway.com.ph or runrio.com.
Interested runners may also sign up at Adidas Gaisano Mall Davao on September 15.
The registration fees are P250 (1K, 5K and 10K) and P850 (21K).
