New CSSDO bldg work starts this year
THE construction of the P40-million Davao City Social Services and Development Office (CSDDO) building will start before the year ends.
CSSDO head Maria Luisa T. Bermudo, CSSDO head, said the fund is sourced from Representative Mylene Garcia Albano.
"Hopefully, it will be bid out in October so that hopefully its construction will start before the end of the year," Bermudo said, adding that she is glad CSSDO is among those given priority for a new office.
She added that the new building will house many offices for various sectors including the senior citizens and the persons with disability.
"Mura siyag one stop show didto nato ibutang ang osca kay if you know dira sa atong sp ang osca office pareha sa lingap kung naay 300, intawon ang OSCA muabot ug 500. Isa na sa atong ginatan-aw pati na tung naga-isue ug I.D sa solo parent, ginalaum nato nga ang mga kliente nato nga muadto dira

These are among the things we are looking forward to implement, and we will also include to house in the building those who are issuing solo parent identification cards)," she added.
Bermudo said the building will be around four to five storeys.
She added that it will be one building eyed to immediately address clients' needs.
The 450-square meter new building will be constructed adjoining the Davao City Hall Annex along Pichon Street.
Davao City Mayor Sara Z. Duterte-Carpio announced the construction of the CSSDO building in her State of the City Address last Tuesday.
