OF BALDO MARRO makes Sunshine cry

MANILA - Sunshine Dizon did not hold back her grief over the passing of famous stuntman/ actor Baldo Marro. She posted a lengthy message on her Instagram about the man she calls "Tatay Baldo."

At first, she recounted how much of a perfectionist Marro is on the set of Ika-6 Na Utos. Marro served as the stunt director of the number one daytime program.

After lauding Marro's work on Ika-6 Na Utos, Sunshine recalled her most unforgettable memory of the man who let her hold his Best Actor trophy for the movie 'Patrolman.' Sunshine played Marro's young daughter in the said film.

"Pero ang 'di ko malilimutan ay nung naging anak n'ya ako sa pelikulang “PATROLMAN” I was nominated for best child performer lahat sila sinabi mananalo daw ako I was only 4 or 5 years old and I expected somehow that I will win pero ibang bata ang nanalo. I remember he was giving his speech ako may hawak ng award ni Tatay at feeling ko nanalo nga din ako.

At the end of her post, Sunshine revealed her only regret before learning of Marro's death today, October 22.

Salamat at mapalad din po ako na I can call you Tatay. We love you, tay and we will surely miss you."
