Casino Filipino stages benefit concerts in Oct, Nov

-

THE country’s premier celebrity artists band together in a series of musical concerts for a cause as they hold unity benefit shows at various Casino Filipino (CF) branches and satellites nationwide from October to November.

The musical spectacles, which seek to generate awareness and provide financial support to a feeding program for the poor, kicks off at CF Olongapo on October 26, 2017. Among the featured performers are the MYMP, Princess Velasco, Dennis Padilla and April Boy Regino.

Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (Pagcor) Assistant VP for Entertainment Jimmy Bondoc said that it will be the second time that the state-run gaming firm will conduct unity benefit shows following the huge success of its initial staging earlier this year.

Last February, participating artists donated a portion of their talent fees to their chosen charitable institutions or individuals through Pagcor.

“With the tremendous support we got from some of our country’s top celebrity performers the first time we organized the unity benefit shows, it’s a no-brainer that it deserves an encore. It really feels good that we are able to help so many people while we treat CF patrons with topnotch entertainment,” he said.

The said shows will run until November 30, 2017. Other popular artists like Carlos Agassi, Paolo Santos, Dessa, Chad Borja, Gail Blanco, Pido and Thor will perform.

The other shows will be held at CF Manila Bay (October 28), CF Tagaytay (October 29), CF Angeles (October 31), CF Malabon (November 10), CF Ronquillo (November 11), Mimosa Satellite Casino (November 18), Madison Satellite Casino (November 29) and CF Davao (November 30).
