Inter-collegiate cagefest in Don Lorenzo Homes

THREE people acted together to pursue a sports program that would promote camaraderie and strengthen the linkage between Muslims and Christians in Don Lorenzo Homes of Barangay Pampanga, Davao City.

Jojo Ondap who was reinforced by Arab Sacampung and Nash Ibrahim launched an inter-collegiate basketball tournament dubbed as the "Don Lorenzo Homes Fiesta Cup" last November 3 in celebration of their forthcoming patronal fiesta.

DMMA College of Southern Philippines, University of Mindanao, Mats College of Technology and Holy Cross College of Sasa, four of the finest collegiate basketball teams in Davao City, were invited.

The event was organized by Ondap and company to entice the youth to indulge into sports since the sports program of their barangay has long been gone.

Ondap said this program is a non-profitable event and the finances all came out from their pockets and some generous sponsors from the private sector.

The games will cover the entire November until the first week of December.
