Murray scores career-high 32

DENVER — The Denver Nuggets were determined to finish their homestand strong. Jamal Murray made sure they did.

Murray scored a career-high 32 points, Will Barton had 26 points and nine rebounds - both season bests - and Denver beat the Orlando Magic 125-107 on Saturday night.

Nikola Jokic had 12 points and 17 rebounds for his eighth double-double of the season and also added eight assists for Denver. Six Nuggets scored in double figures.

It was the first time in five games Murray scored in double figures after averaging 23.3 points in his previous three. The coaching staff urged him to be selfish when the opportunit­y was there and he responded.

Murray had 22 points in the first half to help Denver take a 70-47 lead and hit a basket late in the fourth to set his career high.
