5 wanted nabbed in Oplan Bulabog

DAVAO City Police Office (DCPO) said that at least five wanted personalit­ies were arrested while close to 2,000 residents were invited for questionin­g and crosscheck­ing during a Joint Anti-Criminalit­y Operations dubbed as Oplan Bulabog yesterday in identified barangays in Davao City.

DCPO director Police Senior Superinten­dent Alexander Tagum said that pre-emptive security operations on possible criminal and terrorist lairs in the city started at 6 a.m. yesterday and ended at around 10 a.m. together with other local law enforcemen­t units.

The series of operations resulted in the profiling of 1,898 individual­s, among them are 1,637 individual­s who have IDs and 261 without IDs, and the arrest of five wanted persons by virtue of Warrants of Arrest for various serious criminal cases.

These suspects were identified as Mary Joy Collado for violation of PD 1602; Elmer S. Ibia for Grave Slander; Warlito Q. Bayking for two counts of RA 7610 and RDVO-17-03539; Carlo Albinda for Violation of SSS law, and Raymund Nillas for Frustrated Homicide and 12 TOP issuance for various traffic violations.

It was launched in the areas of Police Station (PS) 1 in Barangay 23-C,

Mini Forest; PS2 in Purok 5 & 6, Barangay 34-D, PS3 (Bo. Sori, Brgy 76-A, Matina Aplaya), PS4 (Zone 1, 2, 3, 4 Km 13, Panacan), PS5 (Purok 11, Brgy Communal, Buhangin), PS6 (Brgy Ilang, Tibungco), PS8 (Sitio Okoy, Brgy Crossing Bayabas, Toril), PS9 (Prk 17 Mahayahay, Tugbok), and PS10 (Feria St., Calinan).

It was a joint operation by security forces and law enforcemen­t units composed of DCPO with Task Force Davao, Philippine Coast Guard (PCG 11), Regional Maritime Unit (RMU 11), National Intelligen­ce Coordinati­on Agency (NICA11), National Bureau of Investigat­ion (NBI 11), RRegional Intelligen­ce Unit (RIU 11), and Philippine Drug Enforcemen­t Agency (PDEA 11) and Aviation Security Unit (AVSEU 11).
