Inday on Bruce: Just a classmate

-

A classmate at San Beda Law School - this is how Davao City Mayor Sara Z. Duterte said she’d known Atty. Bruce Rivera, one of the founders of the Noah Foundation, an identified beneficiary of a cryptocurrency that offers a cheap way for Overseas Filipino Workers (OFW) to send remittance to the Philippines, which has been critized as a “scam” by an online blogger.

“Si Atty. Bruce Rivera is classmate nako sa San Beda and I know him very well na gikan sa law school sa San Beda but I am not aware kung unsa ang iyang participation sa Noah Project (Atty. Bruce Rivera is my classmate at San Beda, and I know him very well from law school but I am not aware of his participation in the Noah Project),” she said in an interview.

This is after blogger Thinking Pinoy, reported that Rivera named himself as “chief legal adviser of the Duterte-Family, but this designation was already changed upon recent checking of the website noahcoin.org wherein, “chief legal adviser of the Noah Foundation” appeared under Rivera’s name.

“Atty. Bruce is not the chief legal counsel of the presidential first family. I apologize that there was a mistake making some translation misunderstood

in translation,” an important notice in the website noahcoin. org read.

Rivera’s named appeared in the official website of the Noah Coin- noahcoin.org
