City football teams upbeat about Davraa
THE Philippine College of Technology (PCT) secondary boys and girls teams are upbeat about the upcoming Davao Region Athletic Association (Davraa) Meet 2018 that Davao City will be hosting.
The PCT teams resumed training after eking out title victories in the Dcaa Meet.
PCT coach Alvic Troyo said, "Nung December po, after ng DCAA, tuloy-tuloy yung training namin. Everyday po kami nagpapraktis."
According to him, the boys team composed of France Fidel Franco, Kenneth Bacamante, John Mark Diamat, Roel Jay Devero, Hanz Cedric Anutan, Alvin Joseph Panuag, Mien Jay Alacano, Joshua Romero, Janmarc Balmores, Seth Magnocia, Ronald Penales, Charles Edward Ibañez, Isa Hajina, Cian Rey Layno, Jurgen Couzan Anzures, Amir Andre Amaikurot, Miguel Royo, and Joshua De Luna held a tune-up game with the University of Mindanao as part of their preparation.
The girls team, meanwhile, played with University of the Philippines, MIFC and Seagull FC teams for some tune-up matches. The team will lean on the services of Aiza Ann Marie Alcala Gravador, Renable Balusca Camangyan, Princess Diane Soncat, Templado Julien Meredith Pleños Mirto, Knayeza Feb Jocson Abellar, Darling Mae Aberilla, Nicole Sabarre Cabatingan, Shane Dompol Flores, Venice Julienne Mendez Lumapac, Diana Cosare, Joyce Omboy Semacio and Julianna Taojo.
Troyo, meanwhile, is hopeful that they will qualify to the Palarong Pambansa. He, however, added they will not be complacent.
Troyo will be assisted by Addu coach Alex Adolfo.
