Eden welcomes 2018 with a bang!
Eden Nature Park and Resort once again staged a grand countdown celebration to welcome 2018!
With a magnificent setting at the lower veranda of Vista Restaurant overlooking the city, families and friends came together at one of the biggest celebrations in Davao City and enjoyed a lavish holiday feast of international buffet dinner.
Adding sparkle to the evening was an exceptional live entertainment by various performers. The resort featured a local school-based performing group, Kultura Edeng together with Kalumon Performing Ensemble, and the women-led world musical band, The Mebuyan. The members of Kultura Edeng are all students of Elias B. Lopez Memorial National High School in which the group’s extracurricular school activities are supported by Eden Nature Park and Resort and the Kauswagan sa Timogang Mindanaw Foundation as part of the resort’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts.
A show of this scale allowed the resort to bring together Davao’s pride to entertain the guests throughout the spectacular evening to enjoy live music of mesmerizing sounds and high energy.
Lucky guests won an overnight accommodation in Park Inn by Radisson Davao, Seda Abreeza Hotel, Red Planet Hotel and Waterfront Insular Hotel. Game winners won a day pass and one (1) month gym membership at Holiday Gym & Spa, gift certificates for one (1) hour whole body massage at Elysia Wellness Spa, gift certificates for any services at David’s Salon, as well as gift certificates from Felcris and Tyrechamp Autocenter Unlimited. Moreover, appliances have been raffled off along with a Casio watch. A Samsung phone was also given to the guest who was able to guess the last digit of the phone’s number. Furthermore, Eden Nature Park and Resort has given away gift certificates for an overnight stay in their property, including buffet lunch and snack packages.
As the clock struck midnight, awe-inspiring performers, confetti and balloon showers, and wine toasts surrounded guests as they created their most memorable start to 2018.
Guests celebrated all night long singing and dancing their favorite songs with Music Authority.
The event was hosted by Brandy Fuentes. The over-all production was directed by Richard Vilar. After the band, DJ Mike Mayer took the center stage to play music.
Spending New Year’s Eve at Eden Nature Park and Resort has become a tradition not only to Dabawenyos but for both local and foreign tourists who would like to experience a stellar celebration of welcoming the New Year.
