AUTHORITIES bared they already have the list of names of alleged supporters and financers of the terrorist group New People’s Army (NPA).

Compostela Valley Provincial Police Office (CVPPO) provincial director Police Senior Superintendent Marvin Manuel Pepino said in a press conference on Friday at the 1001st Infantry Brigade headquarters, however, refused to divulge the names citing that the investigation on their contribution is still ongoing.

Pepino said the long list includes local government officials and businessmen.

Section 15 of RA 10168 mandates the Department of Foreign Affairs to publish a list of designated persons to which the law or the Human Security Act applies.

Thus, they are now keen on conducting fora with different stakeholders in Compostela Valley to raise awareness on the consequences of their action which is dangerous to the national security.

“In addressing that concern, actually we had a meeting with the governor yesterday through the Provincial Peace and Order Council mineeting lahat namin ang mga miners don sa area,” Pepino said.

He added, “We warned them that we will be filing a case against them on that Republic Act 10168 which is an act of Terrorism Financing Prevention and Suppression. Lalabas ang warrant nila and they will be apprehended siyempre mapriso na sila (they will be apprehended).”
