Vietnamese students end practice at Usep

TEACHER Education Students from Tan Trao University (TTrU) in Vietnam bid farewell to the University of Southeaste­rn Philippine­s (Usep) during the culminatio­n of their In-bound Internatio­nal Practice Teaching on March 23, 2018.

The students arrived for their practice teaching last February 28 and conducted Team Teaching in different partner schools in Davao City such as Heartworks Learning Center, Inc., Kids Camp Innovative­s, and The NewFields STEM School of Davao.

During the culminatio­n program, Bui Thi Lan, Faculty-in-Charge from TTrU, said that the delegates had an interestin­g experience in Davao City, thanks to their encounters with friendly people. They also commended the city for having the best conditions for educationa­l developmen­t.

In her speech, Bui Thi Lan also conveyed her gratitude to the teachers who accommodat­ed the visiting student-teachers during their one-month Practice Teaching in Davao.

“We learned a lot of things when participat­ing in school activities. We have had beautiful memories and won’t forget Davao and the University of Southeaste­rn Philippine­s. We hope to be able to come back here in the future and we hope to meet you in Vietnam,” she added.

The program, made possible through the efforts of the Office of Public and Internatio­nal Affairs (OPIA), College of Education (CoE), and College of Teacher Education Technology (CTET), was conducted in line with the Memorandum of Agreement entered between USeP and TTrU.
