Pdea 11 sues 4 in drug den raid
CHARGES were filed before the prosecution office in Davao del Norte province on April 2, Monday, against an alleged notorious drug pusher and three others nabbed in a raid in Barangay Sto. Niño in Panabo City last week.
Facing charges for violation of the Republic Act 9165, otherwise known as The Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act, are Robie Jay Ablen, alias Kokoy, 32, a vendor and resident of Purok Mangga in Barangay Sto. Niño in Panabo City.
Other suspects, who were in Ablen's place and are facing the same complaint, are Justine Mae Magallanes Montargo, Fe Isidro Gatchalian, and Michael Dag-uman Presciosa, from Panabo City.
The suspects were found in possession of two sachets of methamphetamine hydrochloride, commonly known as shabu, weighing about 10.4863 grams and is
worth P120,000, and assorted drug paraphernalia
Operatives of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (Pdea) in Davao Region arrested the four suspects at around 6:50 p.m. following a search warrant issued by the court against Ablen.
Pdea-Davao regional director Ret. Supt. Antonio Rivera said Presciosa was arrested inside the house of Ablen during the implementation of the search warrant.
The suspects are currently detained at the Pdea-Davao detention facility while the seized suspected illegal drugs were submitted to Laboratory Service of the office for qualitative and quantitative examination. ICT
