PRO 11 welcomes new PNP chief

-

THE Police Regional Office (PRO 11) welcomed the president’s decision in choosing National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) chief Director Oscar Albayalde as the next Philippine National Police (PNP) chief.

PRO 11 regional director Police Chief Superintendent Manuel Gaerlan said that Albayalde is fit for the top position in the PNP organization as he possessed the characteristics of a PNP chief based on his impressive performance in his previous assignments.

“He possesses the qualities of a leader and commander that suit the standard set by PRRD. PRO 11 supports his designation and appointment as chief, PNP the way we did to PDG (police director general) Dela Rosa,” Gaerlan said.

He said that he has witnessed how Albayalde worked before and this gives him confidence that Albayalde will take the

PNP to greater heights.

“I have worked with PDir. Oscar D. Albayalde in PC SAF; LRU, PC Capital Command (now NCRPO) and PRO 3 and know him personally. He is a highly qualified police officer with unquestionable integrity and competence needed to steer the PNP,” Gaerlan added.

Likewise, Davao City Police Office (DCPO) director Police Senior Superintendent Alexander Tagum said that they support Albayalde in his plans in the PNP. JCR For full story visit www.sunstar.com.ph/ davao/
