Do not dwell on being unwell

- By Sean Belen

NO person in his lifetime lived with no problems. Problems are inevitable, accept that. It is part of our living. It is an instrument for us to learn and grow, know our mistakes, point out our lapses and realize the things that we should improve in our selves. It will never be an easy journey. In this world full of complexities, you can never not have problems but you can find ways how to solve and find the good on those mishaps in life.

When you fail in life, it is normal to feel sad and to feel disappointed towards yourself. But remember that it is part of the process, it is okay to feel the pain of not doing good, acknowledging that something is wrong will never make you settle. It will never stop you from learning and improving yourself.

Of course acknowledging that something is wrong is not enough, you should have the humility to accept it and forgive yourself. You are just a human, yes a human, you can never be perfect but you can perfectly live, embracing that you are flawed and imperfect. All you gotta do is let go of the things that burdened you and you will have the freedom from those negative things that are stopping you from being happy.

Don’t dwell on the things that keeps you from being positive and happy, those things that keeps on reminding you that you’ve committed mistakes and had failures in the past. Learn to move on; learn to move forward to better yourself. Patch those issues by being better. Don’t let your frustrations frustrate you, it will never be healthy for you in many aspects such as mentally, emotionally, psychologically and socially.

Piles of personal issues, problems, insecurities, frustrations will never give you a better state of mind. It will never make you truly happy. It will also stop you in taking risks and push your limits because you are afraid to fail, to learn. It will also prevent you from making good relationship with others because you are afraid of being judged.

We are not invincible. We all have the tendency to be vulnerable, you should live with that. Talk to someone, someone whom you really trust. Get out of your shell and break free. It will be a big help for you to let everything out of your chest. It will give you relief and it will make you at ease. And if you do that let go and move on from every missteps that you’ve taken in life, life would be easier. Life is too short and beautiful for you to drown yourself in anxiety and live with perplexity.
