Mompreneurs at Abreeza
AYALA Mall Abreeza recently celebrated Mother’s Day with a slew of sweet surprises that aimed to honor moms for all the ways they are amazing.
The headlining offering of Ayala Mall Abreeza’s Mother’s Day celebration was Mommy Talk, a free event featuring celebrity mom Andi Manzano-Reyes and her adorable daughter Olivia held on May 13. The radio DJ, host, and YouTuber got candid with the crowd as she shared the successes and challenges of juggling being a showbiz personality and being a mom to a toddler. Even her charming threeyear-old got her chance to speak to the audience!
The Mompreneur Fair, Ayala Mall Abreeza’s annual Mother’s Day expo, also returned to shine the spotlight on Davao’s admirable entrepreneurial moms who have carved their own paths as producers of accessories, crafts, foodstuffs, health and beauty items, and more. From May 10 to 13, the Mompreneur Fair gathered close to 30 exhibitors; namely, Hello Amber, Amavi, Personalized Items, A Touch of Pink Events & Party Services, Dragon’s Den, Polland, Crazy Nachos, Christianitea, Greenasia International Development Co. Ltd., Florence Home, Anita’s Backyard Plants, Maxi Mango, Burloloy Davao, Craftionista, Xavi’s Notes & Crafts, Mila’s Catering & Partyholics, Yvette’s Bags and Beads Collection, Lemonaddicts, Street Tacos, Calle Verde, Baked by Joyce, Bits to Pieces, Aromacology Sensi Inc., Yolks Flower Café & Cupcakery, Milroses Flowers & Crafts, Takoen Tacos & Nachos, JCI Kadayawan, J Creation, and Eliana’s Balloon Lagoon.
From May 12 to 13, the Mompreneur Fair also played host to a series of events that gave moms and kids the unique opportunity to bond and learn at the same time. These included a macramé-making workshop by Anita Subido, an eyebrow beauty workshop by Kaye Garino, a Shrinky Dinks workshop by Kay Fanlo, and a bayong-designing workshop in partnership with GlobalArt.
Adding pastel prettiness to the festivities was a special Mother’s Day Photowall curated by Annie Lim which adorned the Ground Floor Hallway from May 7 to 13.
Rounding out the Mother’s Day offerings was Keepsake MOMents, a promo by Ayala Malls and Jewelmer that treats lucky ladies to a pair of Gold South Sea pearl pendants for every P500worth purchase from any Ayala Mall Abreeza store from May 7 to 31. Two winners will be announced on Ayala Mall Abreeza’s social media accounts on June 8.
