May we never cross each other's path again

-

It seems that veteran director Mike de Leon, 71, wants to end any connection with broadcast journalist Atom Araullo, 35.

De Leon is the director of the film Citizen Jake, where Atom starred in.

He first revealed his "disappointment" with Atom through a Facebook post on May 21 and after more than a week, on May 30, it was Atom who posted on Facebook regarding his working with the director whom he said was a "deeply troubled person."

But after just a few hours his post was answered by Direk Mike, where he said Atom is both "hypocrite" and "narcissistic".

Yesterday, June 2, Direk Mike again revealed his feelings about "mike/atom a_hole show": "To you guys, spare us your moral indignation, stop watching the mike/atom a_hole show and start watching what is happening to this unfortunate country because the forces of darkness and evil are upon us again." This is in reaction to the article written by Bayani San Diego Jr., with the title "An 'Atomic' war with 'Citizen' Mike," that is published in Philippine Daily Inquirer that day also.

The content of the article is published on Atom's Facebook post and Direk Mike's answer.

In his new and possibly final FB post about Atom, the veteran director said he was not hiding

some things the broadcast journalist said about his personality.

"It is amusing that you, AA have said a lot of things about my character that I have never tried to hide. I am an open book in the business, my bipolar disorder and fits of rage are showbiz fodder. But so is my creativity which pretend-artists can never match. So I dont need any help. And besides my career is just about over while yours is just beginning, with a great deal of help from your social media fans, your new network, and your narcissism."

The veteran director also has a parting message to Atom, saying "And so my only warning to AA as we say goodbye or good riddance to each other is this. Your life is still a closed book. Be careful, my friend, because people are now dying to force it wide open. I wonder why. Goodbye, atom araullo. I have my film and you have your Marawi/Mcdo/Bakwit commercial.

I am confident that both will stand the test of time. may we never cross each other's path again, not here, nor in the afterlife. but wait, we both don't believe in that. so never. - your director and the creator of Citizen Jake, Mike De Leon, get rid of your manager, he's bad news." pep.ph
