Kris Bernal buys a house in US

GMA-7 actress Kris Bernal's latest investment is a property in West Covina, California, U.S.A.

Based on pep.ph report, Kris revealed that the house fulfills her mom Analyn Tan's "long-time dream."

"It was more of a vacation house where we can stay for long if we need another space or atmosphere from the daily grinds of work. Since my sister moved to the US more than two years [ago] to pursue her work as an RN [registered nurse], my mom convinced me to invest in a house there," she narrated.

Instead of putting them in a bank, she decided to purchase a house which will increase in value.

Kris continued, "Sabi niya, mas mataas pa, tumaas iyong value ng house sa US than putting my money in the bank. I adhered to her advice. So last year, I asked my sister to look for a house, and after more than eight months of house hunting, we all finally agree to buy that house in West Covina."

She revealed that they bought the house in April this year.

"We thank God for this wonderful blessing. It was a good buy kasi ngayon, medyo tumaas na iyong value nong house," she said.

Kris added that their modern-minimalist home has a lot size of 3,750 square feet and a floor area of 2,022 square feet.

It also has five bedrooms and a loft.

Kris shared a photo of their house on Instagram, and mentioned that everyone in her family helped in making this dream come true.

"All the hard work, long hours, and sleepless nights, paid off! Not just me, but everyone in the family had their own contribution! I was trembling and almost in tears when I first set my foot on this house!"
