Inday to Trillanes: Leave me alone!

DAVAO City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio warns Senator Antonio Trillanes IV to leave her alone after the senator claimed that the city mayor is the only option of President Rodrigo Duterte to remain in power by making her run as president in 2022.

The city mayor started with her Facebook post with a “LEAVE ME ALONE, Senator Trillanes.” She also said that the last time she was irked, she made sure the person found it difficult to bring her down. Because of this, she said Speaker Boy Nograles lost that election and was ‘a billion

pesos poorer’.

“Like Speaker Alvarez, my advice to you is not to think of me, speak of my name, not even a whisper of Inday Sara from your ugly lips. Leave me in peace in Davao City or else you and your friends will spend more than a billion in the 2022 Presidential elections just to make me insignificant. Let me repeat, do not bother me and my slot will be available for a yellow Senator for the 2019 elections. President Duterte imagines you will be shot, on the other hand, I will make sure you are alive and in pain. I have been described as heartless by my mother, please do not anger me so that you may remain relevant for the future generation. And you should listen to my mother,” said DuterteCarpio.

This post is in connection to a news article published by GMA News Online on June 12 wherein Trillanes said that if Duterte’s other options for perpetuating power such as the declaration of Martial Law or a revolutionary government and Charter Change, the only thing left is to push Duterte-Carpio to replace him.

“‘Pag di natuloy ‘yan, wala na siyang magagawa [kundi] option C niya ay itutulak niya si Sara Duterte bilang pangulo sa 2022, pero ang unang hakbang niyan ay itulak siya para senador sa 2019,” Trillanes said as quoted in the article.
