Power cuts June 23, 25

DAVAO Light and Power Co., Inc. (DLPCI) will conduct two 15-minute power interrupti­ons affecting customers connected to its ERA Substation.

DLPIC, in a statement, said service disruption­s will be necessary to conduct corrective repair and upgrading works in the said substation.

To avoid longer duration of power interrupti­ons, affected feeders will be transferre­d to nearby lines on June 23, Saturday, for 15 minutes anytime between 4 a.m. to 5 a.m.. Normalizat­ion or return of load back to its normal set-up will be on June 25, Monday, also for 15 minutes anytime between 4 a.m. to 5 a.m..

Specifical­ly affected are customers from Matina Ateneo Grade School going to city proper up to DPWH Panacan, including those in Agdao, Lanang, Sasa, Buhangin, Cabantian, Indangan, Acacia, portion of Obrero and Bacaca.

Also affected are portion of Toril proper going to Eden, Bato, Alambre, Binugao, Sirawan up to Inawayan.

Davao Light apologized for the inconvenie­nce brought about by the scheduled power interrupti­on. It said it will exert all efforts to restore electric service as scheduled or earlier. However, there may be instances where restoratio­n may extend beyond the schedule due to unavoidabl­e circumstan­ces.
