Experience Top One Grill and Hotpot
Nowadays, a simple buffet can be a bit boring. Some buffet restaurants are now adding grilling and hotpot into their restaurants to attract more new diners.
Dabawenyos now have more choices when it comes to buffet restaurants as homegrown Top One Grill and Hotpot opened its first store in Davao City at SM Lanang Premier last May 18, 2018.
"The reason I opened the restaurant is I am fond of hotpot and grilling. Also I think there are not too many choices of this kind of restaurant in Davao City," Irene Uy, owner of Top One Grill and Hotpot, said.
Uy said the restaurant offers a variety of cooked dishes and meat and seafood for grilling and boiling.
For the hotpot, they are offering seven kinds of soup. She said you can have two kinds of soup in the hotpot because there is a divider in it.
Uy said aside from the main dishes they offer on one portion of the buffet section, there are five other stations of food and beverages that offer a variety of options for their diners.
The fresh station offers clients marinated meat, seafood, meat balls, seafood balls, rolls, sausages, and other food for grilling and boiling in the hotpot. The green station offers freshly delivered vegetables. The Japanese station offer rolls and makis. Then you have the dessert station that will satisfy diners with a sweet tooth. Lastly, the beverage station that offers Top One beverages.
Uy said they have lightly seasoned their meat and seafood for grilling or boiling because they recommend to diners that they enjoy the cooked meat or seafood with their special sauce.
She added that with the dining concept they are offering, diners will be able to eat freshly cooked and hot food.
Top One Grill and Hotpot is located at the Fountain Court of SM Lanang Premier. On weekdays, a buffet here is at P655 per head while on weekends it is P755 per head. RJL
