Why director Joey Reyes WANTS TO WORK with Maymay?

Acclaimed director Joey Reyes went straight to the point and said he would love to work with Maymay Entrata amidst fans claiming he dissed the young star when he referred to her as "the girl with the long neck" in a previous interview with some members of the press.

In fact, he loves Maymay so much he expressed his desire to work with her on a film project in the future.

"I'd love to work with Maymay. I think she's a character," he said during a bloggers' conference held at the Star Cinema office.

"I think a character is more important than nearly a beautiful face because you can make her do more challenging things," the 63-year-old director continued.

"Noong nanonood ako ng PBB, sa kanya ako tawa nang tawa eh," he said of the Pinoy Big Brother Lucky Season 7 winner.

Direk Joey also praised Maymay who think it is her overall uniqueness that makes her stand out.

"I think the biggest asset of Maymay is nobody is like her among her group. Same thing with Kisses," he stated.

The acclaimed director said he hopes Star Cinema would give him the chance to work on a film with the young teen celebrity.

"I think she has done a number of movies and she's still doing some more. I wish eventually I'll have the opportunity that Star Cinema will lend me Maymay," he said.
