ADDU opens season in Cebu City

THE Ateneo de Davao University (Addu) Blue Knights will form part in the San Remegio Properties Basketball Invitational Tournament slated August 2 to 5 in Sacred Heart School- Ateneo de Cebu, Magis Eagles Arena, Cebu City.

This will be the Blue Knights' season opener for this school year.

Coached by Cholo Elegino, the Blue Knights will face formidable opponents with the likes of the Far Eastern University Baby Tamaraws, University of Cebu Webmasters, and the hosting Sacred Heart School- Ateneo de Cebu Magis Eagles.

Alexander Lamzon, Blue Knights team captain, shared that the team is much prepared for the upcoming pocket tournament in the Queen City of the South.

“With the addition of some new players and all the training and preparation we had, we are definitely looking forward to take home the championship," Lamzon said.

With its new reinforcements and freshly-acquired Senior High recruits with the likes the Lex Blanco, JC Requillo, and Arnold Heje, Addu collegiate team is a contender to reckon with.

Apart from its new teammates, the Blue Knights will lean on its veteran players Edz Luman-ag, Lamzon, Edward Blanco, Dom Cane, Paolo Hernandez, Elwin Toraja, Miguel Pacheco, Dave Sotto, Edward Misa, Dean Garcia, Daniel Fanlo and Jcarrlovic Tarranza.
