YOUNG LEADERS HOLD OFFICE AS LITTLE CITY OFFICIALS
Selected high school students functioned as little city officials at Panabo City Hall in celebration of Linggo ng Kabataan.
In celebration of Linggo ng Kabataan this year, 18 aspiring leaders were presented as Little City Officials during the Monday regular session of the 7th City Council.
The little officials will hold office until August 12 and will perform duties and conduct activities of a city official. To start, they joined the council’s regular session and had the opportunity to be seated beside their local elective and appointive counterparts.
This year, Martin Angelo Anzano from Don Manuel A. Javellana Memorial High School was chosen as the Little Mayor, and Jamal Pico from North Davao Colleges as Little Vice Mayor.
Meanwhile, Little SP Members are Nasrollah Nasser of Panabo National High School, Achilis Ballena Jr., of Kauswagan National High School, Jason Dave Hernandez of Maryknoll College of Panabo, James Paul Balbasto of Panabo National High School, Leslie De Ramos of Francisco Adlaon Learning Institute, Jacky Cubero of Mabunao National High School, Jehan Razul of Panabo Christian School, Mike Badad of Malativas National High School, Feil Althur Oñez of Southern Davao National High School, Mary Christine Coraje of Little Panay National High School, Rose Ann Lamela of Quezon National High School, and Heroshime Ermac of New Maltbog National High School.
At the same time, Cyrinne Mortera of San Vicente National High School was chosen as Little Secretary to the Sanggunian, Judy Ann Chamen from Sindaton National High School as Little Assistant Secretary to the Sanggunian, and June Claide Jalipa from Manay National High School as Little City Administrator.
According to SK Federation President Danica Lyka Carisma, each student was carefully evaluated based on their personality, leadership trust, and moral aptitude. /
