Shopping makes a festive experience in Davao and SM highlights this with the The Kadayawan Festival Sale happening on August 13 to 19. Discounts of up to 70% off will be offered mallwide. Shop in SM Lanang Premier and SM City Davao for the best finds that will take you from festival days to party nights.
Foodies will also want to mark their calendars for the much anticipated South by Mouth, an indulgence on the city’s best local eats and beats this Kadayawan. The food and music festival happens in SM Lanang Premier on August 17 to 19 at the mall’s Northwing Event Grounds; and in SM City Davao on August 14 to 16 at the open parking.
The ongoing Kadayawan Durian Festival in SM Lanang Premier’s Northwing will likewise give locals and tourists alike a dose of their durian fix with P199 fruit buffets on weekdays from 10 AM to 4 PM. Crafts, flora, and more are also on display in the Kadayawan Farm and Garden Fair at SM City Davao’s open parking. Both Kadayawan markets are open until September.
Creativity, colors and culture are in the spotlight in both malls for Sayaw Kadayawan in SM City Davao on August 14, Kadayawan Ball on August 15 in SMX Davao, and Habi Kadayawan in SM Lanang Premier on August 16.
Revelers will also witness a spectacle featuring the country’s most artistic display of music and dance in SM Lanang Premier as Jack TV brings to Davao its signature party series Jack Out Loud. Rock band Kjwan and pop alternative band Gracenote will be headlining the party. Siklo, DJ Toons, MC Boo, and Teatro ng Likha ng Bukas will also be performing. /
