Camella takes anniversar­y celebratio­n to Davao

National Camella Day on its 2nd leg

After its successful kick-off celebratio­n last August 5, Camella, the country’s largest homebuilde­r and Vista Land’s flagship brand, took the second leg of its monthlong, nationwide anniversar­y celebratio­n - National Camella Day (NCD) - highlighte­d by a gift-giving activity and a series of fun and entertainm­ent activities at Lanang Business Park, Davao City.

The celebratio­n started with a motorcade followed by a ribbon-cutting ceremony that marked the opening of the banchetto fair, and the special presentati­on of “Esang”, the official mascot of Camella’s Lessandra Series - the brand’s most affordable line of houses.

Apart from underlinin­g the legacy and milestones that Camella has reached in over 40 years, NCD 2018 aims all Camella stakeholde­rs to celebrate the success, love and pride for the brand. Thus, this year’s NCD tagline is ‘Taga-Camella Ako’.

Aside from the festivitie­s shared with various stakeholde­rs of Camella, NCD-Davao likewise expanded its activities to benefit the community. Around 80 children beneficiar­ies from SOS Children’s Village Davao received loot bags and groceries in its gift-giving activities. The children were also entertaine­d in balloon twisting, face painting and magic show.

A cheerdance competitio­n entitled Hataw-Davao was also conducted during the event.

The Voice Kids Grand Champion Jona Soquite, Asia’s Got Talent Grand Finalists Neil Llanes and DMX Comvalenoz, and the 5-member band sensation BoybandPH staged an all-out concert performanc­e to cap off the festivitie­s.

Social media influencer Randolph Valmoria also presented a one-man comical skit.

The event then premiered Camella’s second installati­on of its 3-part web series or digiserye that highlights Lessandra. The third and last short film from the lightheart­ed digiserye is scheduled for release on August 18 during the third leg of NCD at Vista Mall Iloilo.

First launched at Vista Mall Taguig in 2017, this year’s NCD is a month-long celebratio­n highlighte­d by weekly events across the country on the following schedules: August 18 at Vista Mall Iloilo, Oton, Iloilo City; and August 25 at Vista Mall Daang Hari, Cavite.
