Cotabato Blues, CR7 Food Truck win

The Cotabato Blues and CR7 Food Truck ruled their respective divisions in the recently-concluded Kadayawan Football Festival held at the Tionko field.

The Coatabato Blues beat the men’s open division over JT’s Manukan-Pecho and Rizal Memorial Colleges-GH on Monday, August 27.

The CR7 Food Truck, for its part, prevailed over Sikat Alab FT and Nabunturan FC to clinch the women’s open division title in the event presented by the Davao South-Region Football Associatio­n (DRFA) in partnershi­p with the Sports Developmen­t Division-City Mayor’s Office (SDD-CMO).

Last Sunday, August 26, the Emar Human and Environmen­tal College (Ehec) dethroned defending champion Black Knights FC in the boys’ 17 division while Pantukan FC bested First Fruits in girls 17 division finals.

Crocs FC-Pangil also devoured Crocs FCLolong to annex the boys’ 14 division crown.

The Baguio City-bound Batang Pinoy Eagles escaped past Batang Pinoy Durians to win the boys’ 16 division title while Sakya FC copped the girls 16 division crown over Philippine College of Technology (PCT).

The Panabo Parents United FC, meanwhile, captured the mixed 6 championsh­ip title over Rovers FC while Southshiel­d FC also beat Rovers FC in mixed 10.

Southsheil­d FC also topped the mixed 8.
