NEW DAVAO FAMOUS OPENS MATINA BRANCH
The New Davao Famous Restaurant is now closer to Dabawenyos living in the south offering dishes that we have grown to love
The New Davao Famous Restaurant opens in their newest site fronting Matina IT Park along Gen. Douglas MacArthur Highway, Matina, Davao City.
“We are actually very overwhelmed. Wala mi nag-expect nga ignun ani kadaghan ug tao nga muanhi (We did not expect this much of people to come here),” New Davao Famous president Jason Li said in an interview during the restaurant’s opening on Thursday, Sept. 6, 2018.
He said their loyal customers will still taste the classic dishes that they have grown to love at the new restaurant.
Li added yesterday they gave a 10 percent discount for dinein and takeout orders. They also handed out some freebies and other treats.
“I guess ang among mahatag sa mga taga-Dabaw diria sa south kay ang accessibility sa amoang restaurant (I guess what we are giving to the Dabawenyos in the south is accessibility to our restaurant),” Li said.
He added that this will aslo encourage more Dabawenyos to eat their all-time favorites without traveling too far.
“We are also currently working on modernizing the restaurant, and even expanding our coverage in order to serve more Dabawenyos,” Li said.
However, he said the taste of the restaurant’s food will still be the same.
“We are very happy and excited in this new venture,” Li said.
