As part of Mindanao, Mayor Allan Rellon gave the participants 10 reasons why investing in Tagum would be a wise decision. He emphasized how Tagum has nine gateways which would allow for continuous flow of services and products in the city. Admittedly, Tagum is still young but it is the next city to watch out for, succeeding Davao City, the mayor added.

It can be recalled that Tagum signed a twinning agreement with Haikou City of China which is expected to bring investments which would equate to more jobs and opportunities for Tagumenyos. It also won last year’s search for the most business friendly local government unit in the Philippines conferred by the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Virgilio Agunod, CPA, president of TCCCII, agreed that winning as the Most Business Friendly LGU in 2017 earned Tagum a chance to be recognized in the business world. In an interview, he also left a message to local business owners in Tagum and to its residents for the coming changes in the business landscape of the city. /
