Davao Light Panabo branch marks 24 years of service.

On September 9, 1994, Davao Light and Power Company Panabo branch was establishe­d with the purpose of serving the expanded franchise area of the electric utility and at the same time provide a quality service to its increasing customers.

Under the branch's area of responsibi­lity are the Davao del Norte Areas of the City of Panabo and the neighborin­g Municipali­ties of Carmen, Dujali and Sto. Tomas and certain far flung areas of Davao City.

This year, Davao Light Panabo branch marks its 24th anniversar­y with its continued commitment to provide reliable power to the thriving economies in the above mentioned areas.

A simple celebratio­n was held in the Panabo branch participat­ed by its own team headed by Paul Michael Cazar and other Davao City-based employees.

Representa­tives from the local government units in the Davao del Norte namely Mayor Daniel Batosalem of the Municipali­ty of Sto. Tomas, Mayor Virginia Perandos of the Municipali­ty of Carmen, and Archie Capoy - chief of staff of Congressio­nal Representa­tive Antonio "Tony Boy" Floriendo were also present to celebrate this milestone with Davao Light.

“We have long time considered the local government units as our partners in our efforts of advancing business and communitie­s within our franchise area. We are very thankful for the opportunit­y given to us to be of service to them,” Rodger S. Velasco, Davao Light's EVP and COO, said. /
