Water cuts in Tugbok, Dumoy Line 1 areas

Davao City Water District advises of two separate sets of water service interruption to give way to completion of service improvement projects.

First set is on October 5, 2018 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Low water pressure to no water will be experienced in some areas served by Tugbok Water Supply System (WSS), particularly, entire Brgy. Tugbok (portion of Davao-Bukidnon Road from Quarry to USeP Mintal, Immaculada Village, Purok 7, Quarry, Saint Benedict Assn., Sitio Mahayahay, Grace Village, Purok 10, Upper Tugbok, Tugbok Proper, and immediate environs of Tugbok Reservoir Nos. 1, 2, and 5), some Mintal areas (Maguey St., Sitio Calderohan, Maa Foundry, New Loon, and Tapay St.), and some Catalunan Grande areas (Sarpha Village, Sitio Guadalupe, Mira Village, Sitio Felomina, Sta. Martha, and Sto. Niño Grande Homeowners Assn.).

This water service interruption will give way to the disinfection and cleaning of Tugbok Reservoir Nos. 1, 2, and 5 as part of DCWD’s commitment to ensure safe and drinkable water supply.

Second set is on October 7, 2018 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. affecting all areas served by Line 1 of Dumoy WSS, specifically, entire Matina Aplaya, Matina, Ecoland, Quimpo Blvd., Juna Subd., Bucana, Bo. Obrero, Dacudao, and Agdao; some Bangkal areas (San Juan Subd., San Roque, Muslim Village, NHA Kadayawan Homes, Santos Marketing Subd., Flores Village, SM Village, Ortega Village, Royal Valley Subd., & Central Park Subd.), some Maa areas (from NCCC Mall to Emerald Village), some Brgy. Langub areas (from Shrine Hills up to Sitio Mojon), and some downtown areas (Barangays 1, 2, 3, 4, 14, 15, & 21 to 40, right portion of Quirino Avenue from Metro Circle to Davao Mental Hospital, right portion of Jacinto Extension from Sutherland to Iñigo St. of Doña Vicenta Village, and portion of F. Torres Street from Assumption Church to J.P. Laurel Ave.); portion of J.P. Laurel Avenue (from Davao Mental Hospital to Durian Hotel) and portion of Cabaguio Avenue (from Deco Machine Shop going to Agdao Flyover); and Azuela Cove.

This water service interruption will give way to the upgrading of water connection of Ateneo de Davao University and Malayan Colleges Mindanao along MacArthur Highway in Matina. /
