National Games 2019 reset

-

The staging of the National Private School Athletic Association (Prisaa) Games 2019 was recently rescheduled on May 19 to 25 instead of April 7 to 13.

National Prisaa president Ma. Lita Montalban bared this during yesterday’s Davao Sportswriters Association (DSA) Forum held at The Annex of SM City Davao yesterday.

Montalban said they welcome the suggestion of Department of Education (Deped) city and regional officials as they assured her of their 120 percent support.

“We would be holding the National Prisaa after the Palarong Pambansa since we understand that the city will also host the Alveo Ironman and the Davraa Meet,” Montalban said.

She also thanked the full support promised by the city government of Davao and the Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) considering that this would be the first time for Davao City to host the Games for the past 63 years.

Montalban also promised to make the hosting a memorable one.

“We will give the students and coaches a memorable experience. We will make this hosting of the National Prisaa very memorable,” she assured.

Officiating concerns are currently being addressed.

Last September 14, the National Prisaa board conducted the national board meeting at The Royal Mandaya Hotel in Davao City where Montalban was inducted as National Prisaa president. /
