Kapa-Community ministry and the willing victims

(Second of three parts)

The whisper words spread like a wild fire and enticed people from all walks of life. Kapa introduces itself as “a church within the church” and just like any other churches, Kapa is receiving donations for the furtherance of its ministry.

Once the recruit becomes a member by signing the Certificate of Membership form, he or she binds to subscribe the Deed of Donation in favor to Kapa.

Kapa is correct in choosing its name and prudent enough in its choice of words. First, take a look to their SEC Registered name.

It has a dash line connecting between the word “KAPA” and the word “Community” which simply means the focus of their ministry (the receiving of donations and apportioning of blessings) is intended for the Kapa community/members only.

Second, instead of using the word “investment” they employed the word “donation”. Being a church they don’t accept “investments” but “donations”.

Third, they don’t accept donation from non-members! If you have been moved by the spirit to donate for the ministry, you should be a member first.

Fourth, if you are a member-donor you will not use the word “interest” because you didn’t invest.

As a member-donor there is no interest mentioned, instead you will be educated to name it as “love gift or blessings” from the church.

Along this vein, Kapa encourages its members to live according to the biblical principle that those who give generously receive more.

So, for the purpose of proportional sharing of blessings they set a certain fraction as 30 percent from the amount you donated.

The moment a member agrees and entrusted the money to Kapa, he or she has no right to know where that money goes.

All that is in the hands of a member-donor is a piece of paper stating that he or she is indeed a donor.

Blind faith as you may call it but that is there conviction as “willing victims” should the promised blessing fails.

Now, let us check whether or not Kapa is legitimate in its claim to be a church within the church.

Ethics ruled that making business within a business is unethical. But there is no hard and fast rule to define ethics in crafting a church as this can be in a form of calling or personal conviction that is often overstated as “faith.”
