Jehovah’s Witnesses livestream convention amid pandemic

Jehovah’s Witnesses warmly invite everyone to watch the remaining one and a half day of convention program. As a result of the coronavirus disease (Covid-19) pandemic, this year’s convention program is being presented online at Jehovah’s Witnesses official website www.jw.org.
The Convention session was arranged on the weekend program, the Saturday afternoon can be viewed on the weekend of August 8 to 9, and for the Sunday morning session, the viewing will be on August 22 to 23, and for the Sunday afternoon session, the viewing will be on August 29 to 30.
This time, the convention will feature Bible Drama Trailer: Prophet Nehemiah: “The Joy of Jehovah Is Your Stronghold” about Prophet Nehemiah. It is coming to a convention of Jehovah’s Witnesses near you.
Prophet Nehemiah is faced with opposition as he rebuild the walls of Jerusalem and the people’s spirituality. How will he do it?
The two Christian principles guiding the Witnesses’ historic decision are respect for the sanctity of life and love of neighbor.
“As much as we long to meet together, life is far too precious to put at risk,” said Manases Genovia, Davao City spokesman for Jehovah’s Witnesses.
“The virtual meetings we have held over the past four months have proved to all of us that it’s not about where we are physically. It’s about where we are spiritually. In many ways we are closer as a spiritual family than ever before,” Genovia added. /
